EDITORIAL POLICY OF LCPJ

Linguistic and Communicative Performance Journal (ISSN 2073-5138, PRINT; ISSN 2077-0812, ONLINE) is published twice a year, in June and December. It welcomes articles that have between 1000 and 8000 words, including references and tables. Focused as well as well-connected broad topics are accepted, being the first journal in the world to doubly extend word limits and accept broad topics. Articles may be in English, German, Italian, Russian, French, Turkish, Greek, or Albanian, but their abstracts must be only in English language. The abstract of every article must have no more than 200 words. If the abstract is made up of 201 or more words, this may result in immediate refusal of the whole manuscript meant for an article.

The LCPJ Publishing contract of publication has detailed information about the copyright and licensing, too. Authors to the LCPJ should know that LCPJ does not apply publishing under a Creative Commons License. They should also know that the third-party repository for published articles of LCPJ is GreenGeeks.com, where only those that are interested in downloads can have access.

The editorial board of LCPJ monitors publishing ethics in conformity with the guidelines of COPE (https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/1999pdf13.pdf) to encourage intellectual honesty and prevent misconduct. Acknowledging the importance of the intellectual property, LCPJ’s authors have their authorship secured by having every issue of the Journal registered in the Copyright Office in Tirana, Albania. The editorial board is open to comments written by readers on the website. They will also handle conflicts of interest and complaints sent to them by those who use the specific email address complain@lcpj.pro, hoping to solve the issues without a legal adviser.

Plagiarism check is the first step that the editors take to accept or reject a manuscript for peer reviews, since it is the most expected misconduct of authors. If any allegation of research misconduct comes to the surface, the event will be dealt with appropriately. The authors will be notified and if they manage to correct themselves or their papers, we will consider continuation, otherwise, based on the publication contract, there will be an immediate disqualification with no refunding. LCPJ’s editors are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed.
