Prof. Dr. Avni Xhelili has been graduated from the Faculty of Philology, University of Tirana, Albania, for Russian and Albanian languages. As the Head of the Department for Slavic and Balkan Languages at this University, at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, he has been very active in conferences and other activities held in this Faculty. His main scientific interests include linguistics and translation.
